The academic related group works to involve and represent AR staff issues within UCU and recruit to the union. We contribute to the national debates and campaigns.

The 2011/12 meetings of the Leeds UCU AR group have been scheduled for:

1) Tuesday 14 February 2012,  12-1pm:   Room 2.15 (Upper Board Room 1), Psychology Building

This meeting will consider Leeds motions and delegates to the UCU National Annual Meeting for AR staff which takes place in London on Wednesday 21 March 2012. Please consider 1) drafting a motion you would like Leeds to submit to the National AR Meeting and 2) nominating yourself to attend (travel expenses will be reimbursed). 

2) Wednesday 28 March 2012, 12-1pm:     Room 1.23, Psychology Building

Leeds delegates to the National AR Annual Meeting will report back to this meeting.

3) Thursday 17 May 2012,  12-1pm:   Room 2.15 (Upper Board Room 1), Psychology Building

The Psychology Building is on Lifton Place.  Room 1.23 is on the first floor. Go up the stairs in the foyer to the first floor , go through the door on the left, turn left then take the last door on the right.  Room 2.15 (Upper Board room 1)  is on the second floor.  Go up the stairs to the top floor and turn left.
