The academic related group works to involve and represent AR staff issues within UCU and recruit to the union. We contribute to the national debates and campaigns.

The 2012/13 meetings of the Leeds UCU AR group have been scheduled for:
Wednesday 24 October at 12 noon in Room 1.23 (2) in the Psychology Building
The meeting will discuss:
- Student Services Review (members have received letters from HR downgrading their current roles).
- One IT
- Any other issues raised by members
The following AR meetings have also been arranged for 2012/13:
Tuesday 5 February 2013 at 12 noon in Room 1.23 (2), Psychology Building
Thursday 18 April 2013 at 12 noon in Room 1.23 (1), Psychology Building
Thursday 27 June 2013 at 12 noon in Room 1.23 (1), Psychology Building
To reach Room 1.23 go up the stairs in the Psychology foyer to floor 1, go through the door on the left, follow the corridor round to the left and take the last door on the right to Room 1.23.
