Agreements are either recorded in the minutes of the Joint Committee of the University and UCU, which should be available on the university intranet, or produced as signed documents.
It is not unusual for members of staff to be told by their manager that something has been agreed by the union(s) when it hasn’t. If it sounds wrong to you, ask your UCU department rep or local contact or email email@example.com
