The deadlines for motions were wrong in the all-members email “Notice of scheduled UCU general meetings 2026-2027 … ” sent 6 October.

The deadlines were on Tuesdays and should have been on Mondays. In 2025-2026 the branch committee agreed to change the deadlines from the Tuesdays the committee meets to agree the agenda to the Mondays the day before they meet to agree the agenda.

These have now been corrected at https://www.leedsucu.org.uk/about-us/general-meetings-this-year/

Because the deadline for the October meeting (Tuesday 27 October, 12.45pm – 2pm) is soon, the president thinks it’s too short notice to make the correction for that meeting so the deadline for motions to that meeting will remain 12pm midday Tuesday 20 October in line with the previous email.
